I am wishing to go to University in 2017 and I know I want to do law. But I am unsure of which course to actually do. I am hoping to enter the bar so would Law with Criminology be a suitable choice? Would it hinder me? Do Chambers expect me to have the normal law degree? Or does it not matter? I don't know, somebody help.

Law with Criminology would only be relevant, if anything, to a career at the criminal Bar. It's utterly unnecessary, though; it wouldn't give you an advantage, and in theory it shouldn't disadvantage you but it might.

You will study criminal law as part of your regular Law degree like everyone else, assuming the course still leads to a qualifying LLB (which you need to go to the take the BPTC or LPC).

I'd just do a standard qualifying LLB law degree if I were you.
