two identical resistors in series circuit total resistance of 8ohms.
the same two resistors are connected in parallel, what is total resistance?
    a)0.5
    b)2
    c)4
    d)8

In series total resistance = R+R
Therefore each resistor is 4 ohms
    In parallel 1/total R = 1/R + 1/R
    1/total resistance = 1/4 + 1/4
    1/total r = 1/2
    So r = 1/(1/2)
    Total resistance is 2

thank you so much, completely reminded me of how it is 1/T as i kept thinking it was T so i kept thinking it was simply 1/2. thanks once again
