Makes you a lot smarter having the self awareness of knowing nothing or little, because that means you understand the concept of unknown unknowns.
Probably one of the more important things to learn or know, that tends to take a long time to develop.
You often find that those that do actually know little (relatively), seem to think they know everything.

    Basically Russell's paradox
well I mean not really but reminds me of it..

I mean this seems a bit vacuous because on a literal level it's a total paradox. Yes, you do know something then, but you don't know something, so it's a clear contradiction. But someone can acknowledge that they know very little, which is of course what is actually meant if you say you know nothing.

Well, you know that you know nothing, and that (surely) counts as knowing something :holmes:

You can't. If you know that you know nothing then you know something, contradicting the fact that you know nothing.

Nothing is something, something can also be nothing.

I wanted to write a reply arguing that you knew nothing but I've confused myself in the process. Fml.

Just goes round in circles I guess- just like my failed attempt of an argument.
