    Hey,

It's time to renew my NUS extra student discount card, and I'm looking at the 3 years option. I'm currently in the last year of 6th form, and am 50/50 on if I want to go to uni (but have applied and have all my offers incase).

My question is, if I pay for 3 years, does that mean 3 years regardless of if I'm a student? If I decide not to go to uni, will they check?

I can't really find any concrete answer anywhere else, so I'm hoping maybe someone with more knowledge could help me out.

    Many Thanks

NUS cards are a waste of money.

UNIdays has near enough the same amount of discounts and it's free.

Also most stores don't even require an NUS card to get the discount, just Student ID.

I have UNIdays too, but they require a .ac email address to be verified annually. My question was, can I get a NUS card for 3 years and use it after college.

There is nothing in the NUS Extra Ts an Cs, which say you cant. They are quite lax anyway, so doubt they care.. Theres a bit about fraud, but I think thats to do with it at the time of purchase.
