Hello, I will keep this short as possible as I can because I know ppl are busy with revising. So St. Andrews (Econ) vs. KCL (non econ). Where to choose? I am aiming for bank/finance industry. Thanks

Maybe think about where you'd be happier. First of all, the student life would be two completely different experiences in terms of those particular universities.

I've firmed St Andrews for next year, because I love the look of the course, and the town itself. It's obviously in Scotland and it's a pretty small town, but it's so beautiful and peaceful, everyone is so friendly and I'm absolutely in love with the university.

KCL is very different. It's obviously in London so it's in a much busier, fast paced location. Lots of commuting which can be stressful, but it's got a great vibe if you like that sort of lifestyle. Just bare in mind it's difficult to escape that kind of atmosphere, London is a bit claustrophobic in my opinion if you're there for too long.

It's up to you, but picture yourself in 3 years and think about where you can see yourself being happier. No one else can decide for you. It's your life so do what's best for you.

As above consider the environment, degree and extracurricular opportunities available. Both universities sit squarely in the 'semi-target' bucket for finance, neither will give you a significant boost over the other.
