Car parking near west street needed!

I'm going to be living on west street next year for my second year, and I've looked at places to park my car and it's all just very expensive. One place quoted me £900 for the year.

Do permits work on the car parking spaces say around Devonshire Courtyard? If not, where can I park near west street with a permit?

Does anyone have/know someone who has a spare car parking space, perhaps on their driveway or that comes with their flat that I could pay them for?

Or any other recommendations which aren't too expensive?

Bringing my car is essential but I'm not paying £900 for a parking space.

Hey Tommo unfortunately we're not sure whether permits work on the parking spaces around Devonshire Courtyard but we can recommend speaking to Sheffield City Council. There are on street parking permits available in residential areas but it can be quite expensive and wouldn't guarantee your cars safety. Hope this helps.
