Hi I would probably do something like this:

    Intro

Paragraph 1: comparing and contrasting the external influence of family in both texts. So what similarities can you draw, but also what differences are evident. Maybe come to a conclusion as to how significant this external influence is, would you consider it minor or major.

Paragraph 2: do the same as above but for society.

Paragraph 3: state that there are people who also influence relationships, in this case Cecil and Alec. How do they do this? Perhaps why? Also consider how significant this external influence is as done with the other paragraphs. Is it the strongest influence?

Paragraph 4: I would then maybe do a paragraph just focused on religion and fate for Tess and Angel's. Do these factors override the others?

Paragraph 5: think about what else could be a significant factor other than external influences.

Conclusion: summarise whether or not you agree with the titled statement.
