    Hi all,

I currently drive a 1993 Peugeot 106 with 166,000 miles on it. I have an interview for a university place tomorrow in Bristol, which is about 3 1/2 hours and 224 miles from my home.

I am obviously concerned about whether it would be safe to drive in a car of this age, and whether it would be better for me to get a train instead. Trouble, a return ticket to Bristol is over £120, compared to around £50/60 in fuel costs. Any advice would be appreciated.

Think my replies late but with things like this you need to plan ahead and in advance. I would have advised to have gone the night before so your not panicking also mega bus are quite cheap and service is alot better than what they were. Worth checking them out for future
