I would like to hear from anyone who has enrolled in the IR course at Birmingham or any IR course. I am interested in doing IR but I am unsure whether there would be enough opportunities after the course. All opinions welcomed.

I studied IR, although I looked at Birmingham but didn't end up going there. IR, like with many degrees, doesn't lead to a specific career, it allows you to tick the 'I have a degree box' to be considered for a graduate vacancy, the majority of which don't require a specific degree. The rest is down to what you have to offer- in terms of work experience and soft skills, writing a good application and performing well at interview.
