Okay so a lot of people eat sponge but im a bit different. I have urges (usually when im bored or need to concentrate) to pick at sponge till it is put into little pieces. The obsession first started when there was hole in my sofa and then i started picking at it. One pick led to another and now im in this mess and i dont know what to do. My family have told me to stop doing it but i cant help it.

Does anybody know why i do this and how i can stop? Should i go to the doctors.
