Well, afternoon is "Nachmittag" not Nachtmittag. But nobody says "Guten Nachmittag". It's weird, basically there is no "Good afternoon" in German XD

You'd say "Guten Tag!" meaning "Good day". "good evening" would be "Guten Abend" though :yep:
