How to revise/prepare for GCSE AQA English Literature?

What texts are you studying? Make sure you know the characters inside and out, what role they play in the text and how they shape it, how they affect the audience and how the author uses them for this. Use flashcards to write summaries of characters or themes in the texts and make sure you know a little bit about the author in each and the context. Practice doing writing paragraphs on questions based on your texts and I tend to use PEEL (Point Evidence Explanation Link) or PQI (Point Quote Inference). Always answer back to the question in your last paragraph or statement. Hope this helps.

Personally, I just learn the quotes inside out, so I don't have to look through the book for them (you'll be surprised as to how many quotes you can you remember).

Other than that, anything goes, you can practise a few essays, and I've been trying to predict what questions will appear this year.
