I am studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths at As level at the moment.

I've literally given up with further maths.

But I'm trying very hard in my other subjects but I really struggle applying my knowledge to the questions in the exam (noted from mock exams).

My knowledge is there, because when I look at the mark scheme, I realise that I knew the answer after all!

Maybe it's that, or I'm struggling to retain the information

Any advice? I'd be very appreciative of anything anyone has to offer ☺️

Practice practice practice. past paers will test your sense of recall. You need a nice teacher who will mark them. pay them if need be.

Stage 1 mock paper with your notes
Stage 2 mock paper no notes unlimited time
Stage 3 mock paper no notes and exam conditions.

Your knowledge is no good unless you get it in your exam paper.

Practice will make you improve. it will also highlight where you are weak.
