So I applied for the role General Technician Mechanical a few months ago and have undertaken both AST 1 and AST 2.

Both times I've taken the test I have scored way over what was asked on the specific requirements, but my overall score wasn't enough. After the second time I was unsuccessful, the Corporal decided to send off a waiver and a letter of recommendation, which included my work history (Mechanical fitter, so goes with my trade I'm applying for)

I just wanted to know the likelihood of them coming back with a yes and usually how long it takes for them to contact you with the answer?

Thanks for any help in advance.

In the same position as you mate, good luck!
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
