I want to use past papers to aid my revision for the sciences. I'm doing AQA but I don't know which year to start the past papers from because I noticed the further you go back the more outdated the past papers become such as the 2007 ones. So what year do you recommend I start from?

I would say 2014 ones are the most beneficial or even 2015 ones, go back as far as you can and try all of them as the questions might come up again as many exam boards use a cyclical sort of structure where they re use old questions and just change the wording a bit

I would say starting from 2012 and onwards as those are not majorly outdated and still revelant to current topics in subjects. The exam board websites only show past papers as back to 2012 as well for these reasons so that they can still contribute to your revision.

I think 2007 papers are too old. If you look at the duration of exams, they're 45 mins, even though our exams are gonna be 1 hour. Also there aren't any 6 markers that you can practice in 2007 papers.

I think I'd do 2012 if I were you, but if you just want to practice a few questions here and there, you can do 2007.

2013 2014 and 2015 are going to have the most similar questions to the upcoming exam
