Would you give me 3 marks for this answer? Be honest! If not, it would be great if you could tell me where I need to improve. I just want an opinion on it because I find it's useless if I mark it and judge it myself.

The neurotransmitter assumption of the biological approach is based on the notion that abnormal behaviour is due to chemical imbalances in the brain. Chemical messengers, also known as neurotransmitters, can significantly impact our mood, perceptions and feelings. For example, there are insufficient amounts of serotonin in depressed individuals and excess amounts of dopamine in those who suffer from schizophrenia.

2 marks - Description is detailed and linked to biological psychology
    - There may be minor inaccuracies which do not distract from overall
    meaning
    - Good use of terminology

1 mark - Description is superficial or limited
    - Link to human behaviour may not be clear
    - Little use of terminology

0 mark - Inappropriate answer given

    But what is the question?
The mark scheme will tell you the points it's looking for in a top band answer.

The question was: "Describe the neurotransmitter assumption of the biological approach [3]"
Yes I know it is, but since answers in psychology based on judgement and since they're 'subjective' I guess you could say, having other people look at the answer and make their minds up for themselves benefits me more than if I decided to mark it myself.
