# calculus in kinematics Watch

1. For Q13c), I got times as 2 and -2/7, whereas the answer in the book gives both values as positive. Is this a mistake on my part?

Haven't worked through it, but you should be able to recognise that a negative value of t is usually incorrect

Can you show us your working? I have a good hunch of where the sign slip comes from but I'd need to see your working to confirm it.

Okay, yeah - I agree with you in that it should be or (although I feel like I'm missing something...) but you can't have negative time, so you need to throw the latter answer away.
