I'm considering applying for Sussex through extra and was wondering if local applicants can still live in uni accommodation ? I don't wanna live at home but I only live about 15 minutes away from the campus

But I do like the look of Sussex!

Also, I did my a levels last year so have already met the grades so should get an unconditional, would this mean I'd get accommodation ?

Pretty sure there's no rule to stop you from getting accommodation no matter how close you live. If you apply and you've got the grades for the course already then you should get an "Unconditional" Offer which basically means you'll get in if you accept it and yes as far as I know all first years get accommodation. Yes Sussex Uni looks great! Good Luck!
Do I go to The Streets tomorrow night?
