Want to change directions from what I did at BA undergrad level (was an arts degree).
From the advice listed in FAQs posted by helpful and experienced posters like LordAsriel and _Sinnie, who are in the area of Clinical Psy, I'm under the impression that the necessary study path looks something like this for a person
who doesn't have a BSc in Psychology:
1-Do a conversion course, doesn't matter where as long as it gives BPS accreditation (note: all of these are now MSc level)2-Pursue work experience in relevant areas for a few years3-Do a PhD (if you want to stray from clinical route and into research/academia) Or pursue a Clinical Doctorate if you want to go the clinical routeI'm just wondering, two things:
A) is it necessary for step 1, that one does a on campus conversion (MSc) or can they do a distance learning one without it mattering as long as they get a 2:1 or above? Here's the one I'm mentioning
http://www2.mmu.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/taught/2016/13469/B) If you gain the conversion MSc does that mean you will not have to gain another MSc (non-conversion) immediately after?
