I am looking for distance learning options for MA is Creative Writing or Writing for Performance (Theatre) or Applied Theatre Studies.

Lancaster University and Edinburdge University offer MA in Creative Writing but had my eye on Kings College of London but they don't seem to offer any Arts related DL. From the two I think Lancaster is a good option.

I do have an option to apply to Sydney University for a MA in Creative Writing or University of New England for Applied Theatre Studies which would be DL for me as it's in another city (although same state).

Essentially I am an emerging playwright but don't know if I should expand my learning into creative or study further in theatre. I am interested in screenwriting (some history there) and fiction.

    Questions are:

Can anyone suggests alternative institutions and what are the opinions for these two universities for these courses and the Arts & Humanities faculties?

Am I better to study locally in Sydney or get a more diverse view and education from DL courses in the UK?

    Many thanks for reading.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
