Who advised you that you would be eligible for a maintenance loan?

EU citizens are only eligible for a maintenance loan for study in English universities if they've been resident in the UK for 5 years prior to the start of their course (this was 3 years up until this year). http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en...n_ireland.html

If you can prove that you would be resident in the UK if not for temporary circumstances (parents employed on temporary contracts) then you might be able to meet the residence requirements. Alternatively if you lived in England before moving to Ireland then you might meet the requirements of "6: Settled status and exercised a right of residence in the EEA/Switzerland"

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
