1. Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had attempted the 2016 maths GCSE predicted paper on mathsgenie and could give me an unofficial mark scheme maybe? Also word of advice people, check it out, I've heard they are usually quite accurate and in my opinion they've put some of the harder topics in so its worth looking at it.
2. can you please send the link of the predicted past paper
i went on the website i couldnt find the predicted paper
3. how accurate are these papers
4. who makes the predicted paper???
5. I am going to attempt this paper as it is my exam board and I have no past papers left.

I will also post my answers and we can compare them.

The paper generally wasn't extremely challenging, however some parts did require a lot thought but overall it was alright. The only one I could do was the last graph one. I have completely forgotten on how to do them so I shall be revising them during the remainder of the holidays! Also, the very last question was a little confusing. I got one part correct but I couldn't find the vector MN but yeah.

These answers are in no way to be used as an official mark scheme because there are some stupid answers I have put down simply because I had a brain fart. I reckon I got around 80 marks. Maybe someone could verify by subjecting to my answers if they're different. Answers:

6. It is extremely unlikely for those topics to come up. Although it would be mad if they were to come up.
7. I shall be doing this paper now so I shall get bck to u in a few
8. Waht Maths board do u follow?
9. So glad you said that because i did find this paper a little bit difficult well some topics anyway. How come these topics are unlikely to come up? I hope they don't actually but why did you say that? Do you reckon the paper will be an easy one or really hard because it's the last year of this maths GCSE?

I think the paper will be at the same difficulty as last years. I am expecting a lot of wordy questions, especially after last years uproar of Hannah and her sweets.

No one can predict because it could go either way - you just have to be prepared for both

Hey how did you work out number 11? I found the LCM of 9 and 12 to be 36 and then worked out that the alarm would next go off at 7:21, I could be horribly wrong but its just how we've always been taught to do it.
13. Also one of the simpler questions but the estimating on cumulative frequency (17c) I have no idea how to do
14. For question 14) 27
