    ive just finished A level exams and positivly sure ive got around C D E (crap i know) and i got an offer for C C D at salford to do sports science. however ive really wanted to do physiotherapy for a long time but known i won't get in but is there any chance whatsoever of getting on physio degree? what would i need to do/study etc
    also do u think i shud give up on the sports science coz of the crap grades lol

    Firstly, you might not have done as bad as you have thought. Wait till you get your results, and then decide. When you get the results, phone up the uni and ask them if they'll still take you (might do even if you miss the grades-worth a try). If they don't, then, providing you still want to do the degree, you could take a gap year, redo some modules of your A-levels, and then reapply next year.

    in short if you can't get on sport science, you will not get on physio. the stats for physio are ridiculous- it's something like only 1 in 10 applicants get any places (that's what i got told, don't quote me) but basically the requirements for physio are A/Bs (my friend with 4 As at AS got rejected by half her places applied)

    ok thanks for the advice :cool: i was thinking if i did get on sport and did the first year of the degree it might help with applying but the grades r way too low
