Up to last year, I had always been good in all subjects, including Spanish, English, Maths, Ag Science, Biology, Chemistry and Engineering. This year I chaned school, and my grades really dropped. I fear I might have chosen the wrong A-levels for me. I talked to my school's headmaster and she said that, depending on the grades I get by the end of this summer, I might be able to swop a couple subjects next year. Will that become a real disadvantage when choosing a university? Will they not consider me as capable as the rest if I only do A2 or AS and A2 for the same subject, in the same year?

You need to check UCAS for whichever Uni's you want to apply to. Some Universities/Courses allow you to combine two AS Qualifications, and some don't.
