Hello, I'm a 17 who is looking to apply to university in September, however i am unsure if I am classed as a UK student or an EU students. I've lived in England for 10 years, however I haven't got a citizenship. I spend most of my year in the UK therefore I am still classed as a resident. I went through all of my education here, but I'm not sure if not having a citizenship will disable my from taking out a maintaince load which I'll need when living in Uni. I am originally from Poland, so I don't require a Visa, but I'm still not sure what I am eligible to.
So what am I classed as? And what am I entitled to?

An EU student who has lived in the uk for more than 5 years for reasons other than education (ie you aren't here just to attend boarding school) is eligible for maintenance loans. Fill in the application for finance for "uk students". There's questions in the form where you can explain your uk residence. Citizenship isn't required.
