Hi, I was wondering if anyone on here is currently doing or has done the Actuarial Science and Risk Management degree and can tell me a bit more about what is actually covered.
The modules offered seem to include a lot of theory, so is there a lot more theory learning than there is practical (I mean calculation, problem solving)?
Is there much essay writing in the exams/assessments?
What is the stats content like? From the list of modules listed on the QUB website it seems to be lacking compared to the same course at other unis
And what is the drop out rate like for the course?

    Thanks for the help
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
