I am about to graduate with a BPS accredited BSc Psychology degree and am stuck on what to do next. I am taking a year out but want this to be productive with a mixture of travelling and gaining relevant work experience/volunteering.
My main areas of interest within my degree have been Forensic Psychology (I have also done a Forensic Psychology 8 week Open University course) and more recently Clinical Psychology. However to specialise in these areas I would have to do at least another 3 years of studying and I really want to start earning now instead and don't have it in me to continue studying for a doctorate.
I would love to work for the National Crime Agency in the Missing Persons Bureau or Serious crime but have no idea how to get into this route. I have looked into the Police route but I don't really agree with the Police Now graduate scheme.
Any ideas on other criminology-related graduate jobs or how to get into the NCA?
