    I have looked at a job spec for a system analyst role and it asks for 'some knowledge of the NHS data manuel'. I even emailed the manager asking what this is and she pointed to this link.


    but also said

    'The reference to the NHS data manual is referring to what data the Trust should be recording in our systems, I would not expect an applicant to have an in-depth knowledge however some idea of the requirements is useful'.

    Can someone help me with this as im still confused.

    It looks to be a digital knowledge base on all known professional medical organisations which the NHS can tap into as and when needed.
