I'm starting my A levels in September, and I know for sure that I will study maths, history, and English literature. I would like to study art as well, but have been told it would be difficult as it requires a lot of time. Would it be possible to do art as well as these other subjects? Or would it be too much time and work?

    it's not hard.
only do it if you are easily inspired, otherwise you'll spend half your time crying about have nothing to make art about and that is what will make it difficult.

it requires a lot of time, but even living life counts as studying art so like practically everything you do is inspiration.

I do art and eng lit too, plus Lang. And I've been able to juggle all these subjects- getting Bs in all of them at A-level.

No, as long as you're good at it and enjoy it , it won't be too much work. Just make sure you balance your time spent on all your subjects or you'll neglect them. Make sure to do extra art works outside of school. Also, even if you feel like not producing any artworks, force yourself- anything is better than nothing !
