# C4 Maths watch

1. Hi i was just wondering if anyone could advise me on how to actually do well in A2 maths
ive done all the Solomon papers up unit J for c4 now and im still struggling to answer questions !
i cant get my head around
- differentiation and rates of change
- manipulating trig equations in relation to c4
- integration as in being able to identify which integration needs to be used when
so if anyone just has some advice to do well this year please help!![/QUOTE]
2. Differentiation is the bread and butter really, if you don't understand that then you need to watch videos, practice - go to www.madasmaths.co.uk there are loads of differentiation questions, also questions on related rates of change, integration (all types) etc. there's loads of stuff

heres a tip for C4 integration, whenever you see sin^2x or cos^2x
think of the formula Cos2x=1-2sin^x and rearrange to integrate. You probably may already know this but yeah!
