I just passed my driving test and want to get insured on my parent's car but insurance prices seem to be ridiculously expensive- I wondered if there were any companies which did particularly low insurance for new drivers (i.e. any lower than £180/month which is the lowest I have found so far)

Being insured on your parents car will probably the cheapest option (for a new driver). Getting your own policy would cost much more, unless you can find a company that fits tracker boxes to the car (to monitor driving) & give you a better price?
Go on any insurance comparison site & enter your details, as you would if it was your policy on the car, not via parents. Get the avg price & compare.

Remember on parents insurance; not sure if eligible for no claims bonuses, plus any accidents could affect their insurance.
