I'm currently in first year at university studying law. I fear that i will not be able to continue on with my studies as i was not born in the UK. Im super scared as I've lived in the UK all my life yet i am still considered a 'EU student'. On my SF application it states that ''As you're an EU student you can't get a maintenance loan to help with your living costs''. I don't know what to do as i barely survived on the maintenance loan this year. is there anything i can do to still be entitled for a maintenance loan?!? at the top of my application form online it states that
''EU Nationals: if you’ve been living in the UK for more than 5 years, you can apply as though you were a UK national''
Will i still get my maintenance loan like i did this year as i have lived in the UK for over 5 years???

I don't know what to do, please help, thanks.

If you've been resident in the UK for over 5 years DO NOT fill in the EU paper pdf form.

Apply online here: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-register-login as a continuing UK student. You'll be asked about your residency and be seen as eligible for a maintenance loan and a tuition loan.
