....is it highly likely you will get it?

I'm training to be a teacher at the moment. I am almost qualified and the head teacher of the school said there were two temporary jobs going and said she would email me the Information on them. They are temporary with a view to become permanent.

The email has a link to apply and she asked me to apply. She said she was the one who chose who gets it and so far she has only asked me to apply as it's an internal position unless no suitable candidates are found.

Is this a good sign? I've done really well at the school and love working there.

That does sound like a good sign - it doesn't guarantee you'll get the job, so still take the interview seriously, but it's good. Best of luck!
