Is it for lazy people or do you have to have some sort of good reason?

I'll be in florida a few days before I'd be able to vote without postal voting, so it's about not being home to vote on time

But, say I just don't want to leave my house.... can I just do that instead?

Also, is it free or do you have to pay for a stamp or something?

You don't need to give a reason and they provide a envelope with a prepaid stamp on it - from what I can remember from last year

    Used to be like that.

Now you just register people in your house and fill it in. If you want, although it's illegal but nothing's been done, you can register like 5 people and vote. Labour have been caught but not prosecuted doing this for people who can't speak english.
