So last week I did my fourth AST, each time I've done the AST for the RAF the corporal has told me I haven't scored the required mark for my role(aircraft tech mech) and have been 'very close' every attempt.

Just wanted to know if I could apply to the army or the navy as I've already attempted to join the Air Force?

    Thanks in advance.

Fourth attempt? I was under the impression you could only ever sit two?

No, you sit AST 1 and then AST 2 a month later if you're unsuccessful. If you're still unsuccessful after that then you take 6 months out and retake AST 1 again, then a month later AST 2. You can do this 3 times and after that I believe you cannot apply for the RAF. Not sure how any of the other Forces work.
