    Hi everyone.
Ok so i currently get help toward my rent as i am a mum of 3.
Does anyone know if these maintenance loans are classed as income to housing benefit.
They are to benefits such as incom support jsa ect.
They are not for things like child tax credits.
No one has a bloody clue.

But they are. Even if you choose not to take the loan - because it's money that you can take.

The figure of £693 seems to be disregarded from the loan and then its divided over 43 weeks (may vary)
That would produce your weekly income, as presume tax credits would be disregarded.
Do you get maintenance? Think that is fully disregarded too
