I'm looking to do an Masters in a Finance related field, with the long term aim of going into IB or consulting. I was just wondering what my chances would be as a UK student studying BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance of getting into the courses listed below. I'm currently on course to achieve a first and have a year of industry experience in the finance department of an oil firm.

Some of the courses that interested me were:
Edinburgh: Msc in Finance and Investment
    Strathclyde: Msc Finance
    Nottingham: Msc Finance and Investment
    KCL: Banking and Finance

If you're on track to get a first, why not aim for target unis? You should have no problem getting into those mentioned above, but stand a fighting chance in targets.

You should try for Warwick, imperial and lse. Warwick should be relatively easier to get in, but there's arguably no better place than lse if you're aiming to break into ib. Firms have a hard on for lse grads. Haha.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
