I'm struggling to choose between the two. My course is Anthropology. If I went to UCL I'd take a gap year to work (in order to afford it) so it would take me 4 years to complete my degree just like it would at Edinburgh.

Do you feel that the difference in international reputation between the two schools is so significantly different that it would hurt me in graduate school/job applications? Really the primary reason I'm leaning toward UCL is because I feel that internationally (I don't intend on living in the UK when I'm older) it's better recognized/reputed.

Any other advice on which you would choose is helpful.

    Thanks!!

I don't think there is much difference between the two in terms of international reputation. I think you should research the course carefully and look at the module options - pick the degree which matches your interests best.
