I live with my best friend and her boyfriend (third wheel I know) and this is our last month living together. None of us are confrontational and have never argued with each other in 4 years.
Coming back from Easter though, her boyfriend has left the living room light on (for two+ weeks), the toilet is disgusting, the living room and kitchen is full of dirty plates, there is water still in the basin which has gone stale and there is food clogging up the sink.
I've actually gone back home because even the taps are sticky and gross to touch and I don't want to clean up someone else's 2 week old **** and dirty food.
There's only a month left but it's really pissed me off. The problem is I'm not confrontational at all so I don't know what to do, whether it's worth saying or just leaving.
What do you think?

I wouldn't bother... it's not worth it
You may end up arguing with your best friend then too... if your not going to live with each other after this then just leave it

Take a **** on his bed.
Gets the message across without having to confront them.

It probably needs mentioning, but you don't have to be confrontational about it (or take a **** on his bed!). Just say how much it distressed you, make clear that it wasn't an okay thing to do, and genteelly ask him not to do it again.
