    my little sister just found out that she's anemic.......is there any kind of stuff she should eat or avoid eating???

    stuff high in iron - like livers and stuff *yuck* take supplements as well.

    Try to avoid eating arsenic, plays havoc wlth an aneamics insides, that and fertiliser

    There isnt really anything to avoid. Its caused by an iron deficiency. Eat planty of leafy greens like spinach, green cabbage, kale etc. Liver if she isnt vegetarian (eeeuuuukkk!!!)

    well shouldn't have a problem then lol. my friend at uni at it and all she did was sleep all day cos it made her so tired.

    im spose 2 take iron tablets but havent been (bad dobbie) so.....
    spinach!

    Chocolate has a bit of iron in it. It's an excuse to eat loads anyway!

    My sisters anaemic - apparently if you eat something with vitamin C whilst eating something containing iron, the vitamin C helps you absorb the iron. So go have a glass of orange juice after your plate of spinach!
