I have trouble remaining focused and motivated, I am in year 10 and I'm studying for my mocks which are next week and the week after. I tried making tons of notes but they won't sink into my head; also I bought flashcards - any tips on how to use them? They haven't really helped me either even though I put info on them. I tried mindmaps but nothing will really come out of my head :/ I end up basically just copying out of my revision guide onto paper. Past papers don't really help since I barely remember anything from the topics.

I'm also revising for my year 10 exams and something I find works for me is trying to make sense of what I am learning in my head, rather than reading and trying to cram. For example if memorising some quotes for english rather than rote learning it seems better to make a story out of it in my head. For sciences and maths past papers are best. Overall just try actively learning and when revising try to link things together. People have revision that works best for themselves I think. I hope any of this works for you. I can give specific subject advice if you want any.
