I'm in a happy relationship which is kinda serious with family getting involved and introductions . The issue is, whenever we have a heated argument (very rare) and there's a chance of us splitting, I always think about not wanting to let them down over something that I later see as petty. His family are great and have welcomed me with so much love, and truly love me. Apart the huge love I have for him, they're always seem to be part of it as well..

I just don't know if it's right or not. I personally don't want to loose him and the connection I've made with his family and friends.

I don't really understand. If you're getting serious, you care about him and you don't want to lose him, then how are you feeling obligated to stay?

If you genuinely want to break up whenever you have an argument, then that's not a good sign. But if that was an exaggeration, then what's the issue?

I just feel like it's like a trap in a way. That as well as him, I have to consider his family and pretty much keep a good reputation (not that it's an issue) , just feel a bit pressured

I think most couples, including myself felt awkward when meeting our partners parents.... 'Hello 'steve', nice to meet you. I'm the guy your daughter is performing fellatio on each night.'

I can just relax around them now though. Trust me it gets easier. Just be yourself.

Talk to him about how you feel. Communication is the most important thing in a relationship.
