Hey guys. Feeling so bad lately, have been for about 6 months. Just so depressed and tired of everything, have no friends and life is not as good as it once was. School makes me really anxious can never really relax. Go to the gym a lot but that is about all I do besides study, go to school and sleep. Really concerned but never talk to anyone about this and don't think I will, I don't like to show that i'm weak in that way. Also drinking a lot whenever I have the opportunity to because that helps me momentarily.

Does anyone else feel like this? Do you think school is making me feel this way? I don't want to do anything anymore.

Have anything about your physical or mental circumstances changed just before the past 6 months? There are probably some underlying negative thoughts which are driving you down into a depressive state and you need to try and identify them and tackle them.

You should attempt to see a counsellor or doctor of some kind; you really should. But if you really don't wish to, there a wealth of resources online for CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques to help overcome depression.

School shouldn't just make you feel this way - yes it's stressful, but it shouldn't be making you depressed.

Try and identify what thoughts run through your head which bring you down and try to tackle those thoughts individually - disprove them and notice that they're irrational; life is never objectively good/bad, it's just how we choose to respond and feel about it.
