you should probably see the doctor as you may need something abit stronger

Had to happen on Saturday, didn't it

Sod's law. I'd try to see a doctor today if possible - I don't know what your area is like but we have a different set up at the weekend which makes it easy to get appointments quickly, even if the doctors aren't all that good. Hope you feel better soon.

Ouch, sounds painful.

I reckon you need to see a doctor especially with the bleeding. I know they wont have any doctors there but do you have a Walk In centre by you? Its better than nothing I suppose, and the nurses may be able to give you something for it.

can i just ask what cystisis actually is? i dont mean to invade your thread, im sorry!

but quite embarassing...a few times after sex it has reallly really stung/burned when i've gone to the toilet. i know most people will jump on the STI bandwagon, but trust me it's 100% NOT because of any kind of STI. but i was wondering is it cystitis? It's so painful, sometimes i get it, sometimes i dont. i just dont know how to stop it though! Also it only stings for like 1 or 2 wees then a few hours later will have totally disappeared!

I'd go see the doctor, i think bleeding could be a sign of a more serious infection, perhaps kidney?

Reply 7

you can bleed with cystitis but it can also be signs of other things, including kidney infections

And on that note, I had a kidney infection not long ago and it was bloody awful, Ive never been in so much pain in my entire life- it was agony going to the loo, it took me about 3 weeks before I felt better

So its important to get it checked out just in case

OK well the sachets have cleared up the pain and can't see anymore blood... am hoping it was a one off.

Yum yum those sachets are tasty (not).
