Seen a couple of threads with some juicy music being thrown around by our brothers and sisters here on TSR. Restores my faith in humanity, that does.

    What got you into hiphop?

For me, Run DMC and Gorillaz were probably most influential in developing/refining my taste in music.

Gorillaz introduced me to a whole new world, DOOM, De La Soul, Deltron 3030 etc, and from there I've found myself at a place where I've heard what I need to hear, and now I can just look for new artists and enjoy it and not have to do my research.

    What about you guys?

Eminem. I liked the shock value. After that I listened to 2Pac.

If you count Garage then that cos I was a fan of that before I liked Hip-Hop.

Immortal technique changed my whole perception of hip hop, prior to that the only exposure i had was really mainstream stuff (not that mainstream is necessarily bad) and my taste is redefined every day.
