To be honest.. I just want to know that I am not alone...

I haven't started revising for my AS exams yet because it physically hurts my brain to try to start.

I will do allnighters to get work done even though I think about doing it all day.

Is anyone suffering from this or knows how to get past it?

    Thanks

Have the exact same issue. Told myself I'll get all my homework done and revise all my case studies over Easter. I am yet to start anything and I go back on Monday. There is just so much, I don't know where to start and the worst part is, exams are just 5 weeks away !
We are in this together lol

Failing my AS levels 2 years was the worst thing that ever happened to me. My life changed a lot because of it. The fear of failure is what prevents me from procrastinating.

Wow. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm really hoping the fear will kick in real hard and I'll be forced out of this trap!

I know right, I couldn't believe it myself until my head of year kindly reminded us all of this, half way through the Easter holiday
I think I've just always been a crammer and will always leave things until the last minute, as this video explains - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6fqfn4sOJQ Note : I'm a procrastinator, I watched this video, while I told myself I should be revising.

    We will figure it out,
All the best for your exams,

Past papers/flashcards is all you can really do now.. I'm kinda in the same situation, atm I have created a table in excel listing all the papers for my exams and ticking them off as i'm doing them (using exampapers.com). Set yourself goals daily like for me, complete x4 C2 papers and mark them on Monday, x2 CHEM1 x1 INFO1 x1 INFO2 on Tuesday etc. 5 weeks? so 5x7= 35, so 4 past papers a day would be 4x35= more than enough...
    Edit: sleep well

    I AM WITH YOU SISTAH.

Seriously. Had 2 weeks off for easter and I have done bugger all!!!

I've already failed y12 once and i can't do it again, yet I cannot revise? Like I sit down, I open the textbook, I read a line, I get bored, I stare into space for four years, and then panick because I have just wasted an hour and not learnt a scrap of information.

Instead of revising I usually watch youtubers, sleep, eat, play with my nephew... literally anything to get me out of it.

So to answer your question, no you are most certainly not alone.

However, we should both probably get a grip n start revising x
