In regards to the klein bottle, a 3d model or is full out 4d the only thing good enough for you?

The demands in the rider aren't really about being a diva, it's a quick and easy way of telling whether the venue has read the rider properly, which also includes all the technical setup, so if you're putting on a show with anything dangerous that could potentially go wrong you can tell that the venue have set it up properly without having to spend ages checking every aspect.

I think most people are aware of that by now, but inevitably some people do take the piss.

I suppose brown M&Ms is probably the most famous instance of what you mention.

Very rarely - people who take the piss will almost always get the short sharp thrift and not get to come back to the venue to do further shows.

Yeah, I'd probably go for a couple of bags of skittles separated by colour into different bowls.

You'd know better than I do. I did, for many years, think all such requests were diva behaviour but the truth makes far more sense.

To illustrate my point, though, Kanye once asked for a carpet to be ironed because it was too bumpy. I understand I can't use Kanye as a particularly universal example but still

I heard roger daltrey used to ask for a quarter pint of haagen daz ice cream be placed on stage every 20 minutes for him during his concerts, doesn't seem like a bad idea...

That there should be at least 10 cats adopted out from shelters or that were living on the streets, in my dressing home so I could take them home with me after a show. Also, plenty of Irn Bru, chippy chips and Jack Daniels in the room.

Probably a bottle of a nice Speyside single malt.
