    add a little to copper sulphate solution - a pale blue ppt should be observed. When an excess is added, the ppt dissolves to give a deep blue solution

    NH3 (aq) + H2O (l) <=> (Reversibely) NH4+ (aq) + OH- (aq)

    Use the OH- from here to ....

    Mn2+ (aq) + 2OH- (aq) --> Mn(OH)2(s) (Cream Precipitate)

    No good.
    Also works with NaOH, KOH, Ca(OH2

    SALLY! We've got the markschemes to these papers with all the answers on, including this one! Why don't you just look at them instead of asking people on here?! lol

    Actually, on 2nd thoughts, just STOP revising now!

    I know about the markschemes, but they are sometimes so vague that they don't make sense. (This is edexcel after all )
