    Ok,so in a nutshell:

    You have playgroup, nursery, reception etc which is just like for toddlers, like pre-school

    Then you have primary school which goes from year 1-6 so ages 6-11

    Then there is secondary school, some secondary schools goes from years 7-13 (ages 12-18) but others exclude sixth form (years 12-13)

    You take the SATS in Years 2 and 6. GCSE'S in Year 11 and A levels in year 13
