Hi there, I was wondering if a person applies for student finance and their loans are confirmed, but on results day or later, they decide not to go to uni or to take a gap year, what should they do in regards to their student finance? Thanks

You don't need to do anything. SLC only pay out funds once your university has confirmed your physical attendance on your course. If you don't turn up then your finance gets cancelled automatically.

You'll need to apply again this time next year.
